摘要
Geometry of natural asymmetric eggshells often forms by rotating of multifocal plane curves around their axes of symmetry. The curves can be described by an equation of the order of 2n, where n is the number of foci of the curves. Models of the curves were taken as the basis for experiments with complex asymmetric structures with elastic frame and rigid coverings. In these experiments, adaptive frame structures made in the form of cyclic closed knots from elastic rods of composite materials simulated the bearing principle of the inner woven structures of an eggshell.
