摘要
The advent of inexpensive industrial computing platforms, combined with ever-broadening secure telecommunication, has created avenues for advanced control of electric system equipment, even when spread over significant distances. When applied to the existing grid, these technologies take the form of sophisticated fault location, isolation, and service restoration and advanced distribution management system (ADMS) applications. At a smaller scale, these technologies also facilitate the management of microgrid assets.
