摘要
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) model studio hosts a variety of events related to innovation at various educational levels. Without a doubt, its application in the academic training of high school teachers of the Manta Fiscal Educational Unit constitutes a relevant technological tool based on the quantitative approach of its correlational descriptive, used in a population of 70 teachers, which offers standardized values that allow teachers to be placed below 0.030; result that translates into how a communicative and creative teacher positively influences the academic performance of students; However, it is necessary to go deeper in relation to promoting an adequate training process that generates greater academic performance in students from the effective development of this digital capacity. The effectiveness of the ISTE model can be considered favorable as it is a first training experience for teachers. The work offers valuable elements to take into account to deepen student -centered education based on digital competencies for the optimal use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
