摘要
The major issues in managing patient health records are the security, accessibility, ownership of medical reports, and usability of medical data. To address these challenges, we propose a decentralized, blockchain-based architecture to connect patient health record systems by bringing together several healthcare stakeholders. Patients could grant healthcare professionals temporary access to their data based on a permission-based process. To accomplish this, we proposed employing the Hyperledger blockchain with Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to verify ownership of patient records, track all associated activities, and offer transparency, security, and swift accessibility. We illustrate the system architecture and functionality using comprehensive design diagrams, including flowcharts, Unified Modelling Language (UML) diagrams, and entity diagrams. The design diagrams visually represent the system's structure and procedures, which helps with implementation and possible applications. In this paper, we have primarily emphasized the structural modeling aspects of the proposed system. Overall, this study adds to the expanding body of knowledge about healthcare systems based on blockchain and offers insightful information for academics, professionals, and decision-makers in the sector.
