摘要
Performance of a multilayered thin film-based electrochemical sensor (RE)|Pt|Cu,Cu2O|YSZ|O2,Pt(WE) grown on (100) SrTiO3 (10 mm x 10 mm x 0.5 mm) using pulsed laser deposition is demonstrated for sensing oxygen from 10 to 1000 ppm in an inert ambient. The overall thickness of the device is 1 mu m, which is demonstrated to operate at 673 K with a sensitivity of 20 mV/decade and offers the scope for reduction in power consumption. Impedance studies show that the electrode polarization across the working YSZ/Pt interface plays a key role in dictating the working temperature of the sensor.
