摘要
This comprehensive review analysis of the progress and modification of intelligent delivery methods employed for the administration of Flutamide (FLT). Flutamide is given to treat and control androgen-dependent malignancies, such as prostate cancer, and illnesses caused by high amounts of androgens, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome. The use of nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems (NDDS), in particular polymeric and lipid NPs, for FLT is examined, providing prospective strides towards high precision medicine. The literature reveals the potential of directing FLT straight to tumor sites, thus decreasing side effects and improving therapeutic efficiency. NDDS with polymeric NPs have been crucial in this struggle, leading to about 66% and 78% drug release at neutral and acid pH, respectively, after 120 h. This release pattern aids to solve shorcomings like nonspecificity and multidrug resistance that are frequent in traditional treatment methods. The continuous patterns of drug release, alongside the successful incorporation of drug-loaded NDDS, provide new possibilities for improving current cancer treatments. The findings of published articles open the possibility of reducing side effects and upgrading the overall efficiency of the therapy. These milestones highlight the transformative potential of NDDS with polymeric NPs within the area of cancer therapeutics.
