摘要
The photovoltaic array exhibits non-linear characteristics which lead to reductions in performance under partial shading conditions. In partial shading, reconfiguration enhances power generation and diminishes mismatch loss. In the reconfiguration approach, dynamic reconfiguration delivers improved performance under real-time shading patterns. Even though the existing dynamic reconfiguration approach improves power generation, it cannot completely eradicate the mismatch loss. To eradicate this shortcoming, the study proposes a novel dynamic reconfiguration approach with the flexibility to alter the wiring of any photovoltaic panel with a higher shade dispersion ability, thereby completely eradicating mismatch losses. Experimental verification has been conducted to assess the effectiveness of the proposed method on a 3 x 4 total-cross-tied photovoltaic array. The results reveal the efficacy of the proposed method over the prevailing dynamic reconfigurations. The experimental results reveal that the proposed method completely eliminates mismatch loss in comparison to the totalcross-tied, couple-matching, and dynamic reconfiguration techniques. The percentage power enhancement during low partially shaded conditions is 50 % on comparing with total-cross-tied and 25 % when compared to other conventional reconfigurations. Whereas for the medium partial shading conditions the power is enhanced up to 27 W on comparing with total-cross-tied and 12 W on comparing with other conventional reconfigurations. For high partially shaded conditions, the mismatch loss is 0 W for the proposed method however it is 30 W for all other existing methods. For all the partial shading cases the proposed method completely eradicated the mismatch loss.
