摘要
BackgroundEffect of temperature fluctuations on the thermo-mechanical properties of engineering materials can be critical in many engineering applications. Moreover, electromagnetic fields also affect the stresses and their distribution in addition to thermo-elastic stresses in some engineering materials, leading to a complex coupling between different energy domains.PurposeThe proposed model enhances its ability to describe long-term interactions and memory effects by incorporating a non-singular kernel and non-local behavior. This suggestion is important because traditional thermoelasticity models often ignore non-local effects.MethodsThermoelastic interactions in a thin, long, hollow tube immersed in a uniform electromagnetic field are considered. The Laplace transform method was applied to solve the governing equations in the transformed field, and the Dubner and Abate technique was applied to calculate the numerical results for the system fields.ResultsThe results presented in the graphs were discussed, analyzed, and compared with the results of the corresponding traditional and generalized thermoelastic models, and the effect of operating factors and fractional order was studied.ConclusionChanging the fractional derivative order improves memory and heredity. This slows changes in electric and magnetic fields and emphasizes dispersion.
