摘要:
This practice-oriented paper extends the utility of the perspectives of psychiatry model originally developed at Johns Hopkins University to clinical neuropsychology, focusing particularly on its relevance for post-COVID condition (PCC). By integrating the model's four key perspectives - disease, dimension, behavior, and life story - it offers a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of the neuropsychological and somatic symptoms associated with PCC. Our arguments are substantiated by empirical evidence and clinical case studies that demonstrate the model's applicability in crafting targeted therapeutic strategies based on a multidimensional case conceptualization. Overall, the perspectives of psychiatry model emerges as a valuable framework for clinical neuropsychologists, enriching both diagnostic and treatment approaches for complex conditions such as PCC.
