DIGITAL SEMIOTIC COMPETENCES: TOWARDS A MODEL FOR THEIR TRAINING IN THE CUBAN UNIVERSITY

摘要
How to develop a humanistic digital culture from university education, correlative to the process of digital transformation of Cuban society, is one of the problems to which the research developed has sought to contribute from its main purpose: to propose a model for the formation of Digital semiotic competences in university strategic actors. Whit a qualitative- quantitative and interdisciplinary research strategy, which integrated methodological references from Semiotics, Digital Humanities, Cultural Studies and Educommunication and Educational Sciences, documentary analysis, observation, content analysis, triangulation and modeling were used as fundamental methods. This article summarizes the results obtained in the theoretical and methodological phases, consisting of conceptual precedences on semiotic- digital competence, a theoretical construct with few references in the Cuban academic field; as well as the design of a competency matrix and a training model for these competencies, which align the levels of digital literacy and development of strategic university actors with the generation of identity -cultural content on digital platforms.
