摘要
Due to increased dependency and health needs, the follow-up of the patients in nursing home (NH) by general practitioners (GP) is difficult, in a context of an aging population and declining medical density. This study sought to describe facilitating or limiting factors faced by GP in Dr & ocirc;me, Is & egrave;re and Savoy in their NH patients' follow-up and to collect suggestions for improvement. A qualitative study, with phenomenological analysis, was identified factors linked to patients (complexity, specific needs, Doctor -patient relationship affected, ethical considerations), to physicians (to conjugate his office activity with visits and emergencies) and to NH (cooperation with information sharing amongst professional microcosm, their representations by GP). The Covid pandemic revived questions about the meaning of care but revealed adaptive work reveals the challenges GP face at NH, as well as prospects for improvment.
