Visible-light-driven synthesis of indoles via aerobic oxidative dehydrogenation at room temperature

摘要
A photo-induced synthesis strategy has been developed to produce indole and other N-heterocycles via aerobic oxidative dehydrogenation. This process was performed under air at room temperature, resulting in moderate to good yields of indole, furan, quinoline and isoquinoline derivatives. Various sensitive functional groups are well tolerated in this reaction. This method is economical, highly efficient, and environmentally friendly, providing inspiration for the development of novel photochemical synthesis reactions.
