摘要
This paper presents a web-based platform to improve the educational experience for students with disabilities in online learning settings. Developed in collaboration with experts from Centro Espanol de Subtitulado y Audio Descripcion (CESyA) and individuals with disabilities, the platform offers various features to enhance accessibility. Notably, it enables the creation of live sessions with live transcription of audio, allowing the inclusion of channels for sign language interpretation and audio description, and offers a customizable user interface. Additionally, it automates the generation of resources such as notes and recordings with subtitles, streamlining the learning process for all users. The platform has been refined using user-centred methodologies through iterative development and user testing to cater to diverse user needs, prioritizing accessibility for an effective educational experience tailored to each student's requirements.
