摘要
Wireless communications at sub-THz frequencies require high-gain antennas for practical link distances and increase the complexity of design and testing. This work investigates the operation of a pyramidal horn antenna operating at 220-330 GHz. The antenna is studied using both electromagnetic (EM) simulations and near-field measurements with a planar scanner. The obtained results are in good agreement regarding the frequency response and radiation pattern properties, which validates the experimental setup used for measurements at frequencies above 300 GHz.
