摘要
The article proposes to understand the Latin American student movements as a social phenomenon. The model identifies the sociohistorical processes that condition student movements, the problems that underlie their emergence, and their most characteristic features. The principal contribution of this model is the understanding that a close relationship exists between the processes that stamp the contemporary age in Latin America, the expansion of university enrollment, and student movements.
