摘要
Studies on the knowledge produced are consolidated as a way of knowing what is generated in the country, from different perspectives, either through scientific education, scientific dissemination, or through technologies that act as tools in the teaching-learning process. In the present study, the national scientific production on the theme "education in/of the countryside" in Brazil was identified, based on the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). From the data and preliminary results, 515 publications were selected, classified into theses and dissertations. The results demonstrate that the publications were carried out in a representative way in all the country's macro-regions, identified by mapping. The considerations indicate the importance of scientific production and the ability to create solutions. Thus, education in/from the countryside stands out globally, based on its insertion in the context of social development, supported by strong pillars of aspects of education such as the environment, contributing in its own way to the research process, innovation in education in sciences.
