摘要
<正> Ferrites are active catalysts for the oxidative dehydrogenation of n-butenes to butadiene. By means of examining ferrite spinels ZnFe2O4, ZnCrFeO4, and SiO2-supported ZnCrFeO4 with methods of the X-ray powder diffractometry, the Mssbauer effect and the paramagnetic resonance, useful information concerning their bulk crystalline phases, the valence of the Fe ion and its chemical environment together with the properties of the paramagnetic species were obtained. After correlating this structural information with their catalytic activity, an attempt was made to reveal the operational nature of this type of catalyst for such a reaction. The possible structure of active center for the catalytic reaction has been suggested.
