摘要
Ignacio Funes-Ardoiz (Ramo<acute accent> n y Cajal researcher at the University of La Rioja) and Pablo Garrido-Barros (Ramo<acute accent> n y Cajal researcher at the University of Granada) discuss the importance of using light as energy input in photoredox catalysis with a special focus on controlling hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) reactions in both oxidative and reduc tive activation, including the importance of polarity-match effects selectivity.
