摘要
Large scale integration of natural gas fired generators into power system entails growing interdependence between power system and natural gas system. Failure of natural gas system may raise significant challenges to security and reliability of power system. Currently, lots of efforts are focused on mechanism and modeling of cascading failures. However, traditional researches neglect the effects of natural gas system. From the perspective of integration of power system and natural gas system, failure of gas system may decrease outputs of gas fired generators and aggravate the cascading failure of power system. This paper proposes a model of cascading failure of power systems considering the effects of gas system, represented with the varying outputs of gas fired generators and considered as constraints of power system cascading failure model. Moreover, a case study composed of IEEE 30-bus system and a 20-bus Belgian gas network is performed, validating effectiveness of the proposed model. © 2019, Power System Technology Press.
