摘要
Today, the evaluation of products and companies is largely carried out from a financial perspective. New customer and capital market requirements will change this in the future, so that the added value of sustainability activities will become measurable for manufacturing companies. If investment and purchasing decisions are no longer determined solely by financial aspects, but also by the fulfilment of sustainability factors, sustainability will become a decisive competitive factor. In the following, a framework for manufacturing companies, e. g. in the mechanical and plant engineering sector, to increase internal and external sustainability is presented. © 2021 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston 2021.
