摘要
Currently, cardiovascular diseases are one of the greatest health concerns worldwide due to their high prevalence and high costs. After coronary and cerebrovascular disease, comes venous thromboembolic disease, which in Europe caused around 370,000 deaths, of which pulmonary thromboembolism has an incidence of 39 to 115 per 100,000 inhabitants. Hemodynamic deterioration is present in 3 to 5% of these events, and 50% of these patients die within 90 days of diagnosis, so thrombolysis and anticoagulants reduce mortality in more critical situations. Nursing performance is essential during treatment, in this context, the objective of this case study is to expose the application of the "Nursing care process in thrombolysis due to thrombopulmonary embolism", in a patient who enters the hemodynamics room for intense chest pain, and dyspnea with hypoxemia, the application of Virginia Henderson's model, allowed to provide continuous care, based on scientific principles according to the reality of the patient, determining altered human needs, and specialized nursing actions such as: Embolism care pulmonary, Intravenous therapy (thrombolytic), assessed according to indicators of verbal expression of pain, VAS scale 8/10 that upon admission to the Likert scale are substantially compromised and after the intervention progresses to without compromise, thus improving the state health of our patient, and professionalism in nursing care is evidenced.
