摘要
In this study, a visible-light sensitive neodymium iron oxide (NdFeO3) perovskite nanostructure was fabricated via facile citrate sol–gel method to target the degradation of lomefloxacin (LMF) antibiotic and methylene blue (MB) dye. The as-synthesized catalyst were investigated employing various characterization techniques scuch as XRD, EDX, SEM, UV–vis and PL. The NdFeO3 photocatalyst demonstrates excellent photocatalytic activity of maximum 88 % and 95 % for the photodegradation of LMF (15 mg/L) and MB (15 mg/L) in 120 min under a visible light source (LED, 30 W). The current study provides an exciting technique for developing a NdFeO3 photocatalyst capable of high-performance LMF and MB detoxification. © 2022
