摘要
Human beings primary need is to have good quality food. The production of food and the consumption is the basic necessity of each individual. It is predicted that the world would need more supplies of food by the end of the 21st century. Thus smart farming is the need of the hour. The smart farming will be performed effectively using automation system. The cost is also reduced by optimal usage of supplies such as water and electrical energy. The goal is to provide long term sustainable solution via automation of agriculture process. The process of automation in agriculture is performed using several methods for getting data from the crop by the use of sensors. These sensors are useful in measuring the environment condition. A portable measurement technology including soil moisture, luminosity, air humidity and air temperature sensors are effectively utilized in this system. These sensors are used to track the environmental information, this is very useful in controlling the automation of irrigation system. This system proves to be very successful since it interacts with the roots of the plant. The proposed system seems to be more efficient since the sensors are used in the most effective manner as compared to prevailing methodologies and the cost of production decreases with increase in productivity. © The Author(’s).
