4D printing has emerged as a transformative technology in the field of biomedical engineering, presenting the potential for dynamic, stimuli-responsive structures applicable to tissue engineering, drug delivery, medical devices, and diagnostics. This opinion aims to celebrate and highlight recent developments in 4D printing, citing concise examples of breakthroughs and discerning how they are revolutionizing the field.
