摘要
In this study, an optimum drilling parameter for Titanium nitride coated tungsten carbide tool in micro drilling works is able to determine the best drilling parameters for nickel-based alloy, CM247. In this experiment were performed by drilling tool of 0.3 mm with varying parameters, like spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut in three different levels. 1500, 2000 and 2500 rpm are chosen as a rotation of Spindle speed and 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 mm/min is set as Feed rate. The material removed values and Machining times have been calculated individually to measure the influence of process and performance parameters of micro hole. The Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used to examined the properties of drilled surfaces and tool electrodes. The main aim of this study is to find out why the workload characteristics such as Material Removal Rate (MRR) and Machining time (Tm) affects response influence the reaction. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
