摘要
To investigate the three dimension distribution of residual stress on full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints and analyze the influence of the weld form of the cross joint on welding residual stress distribution, numerical simulations of residual stress on full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints were carried out based on the indirect coupling solving method of temperature field and stress field. Using the FE software ANSYS and choosing typical thermodynamic parameters of Q345 steel, FEM models of full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints were build. Welding procedure was simulated and temperature fields of full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints were obtained. The temperature fields taken as input condition, the three-dimensional residual stress fields of full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints were obtained by using thermo-mechanical analysis in ANSYS. Research results show that the peak residual stresses occurred at the weld toe and the weld root of full-penetration inclined cruciform welded joints and the angle of weld had a significant influence on residual stresses distribution. © 2019, Editorial Board of Transactions of the China Welding Institution, Magazine Agency Welding.
