摘要
Due to the advantages of short axial length, compact structure, short flux path, high power/density, and high efficiency, the axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motor can be widely applied in electrical vehicles, new energy power generation, flywheel energy storage, machine tool equipment, aerospace, etc. In this paper, the basic structure and essential characteristics of the AFPM motor were dissected. Focusing on the realization of high efficiency, high power density, strong reliability and wide speed-regulation, the topology and feature of several AFPM motor with prominent feature were analyzed. Subsequently, in terms of the design and analysis method, cogging torque suppression technology, and noise vibration and harshness (NVH) analysis as well as suppression method, a comprehensive analysis and summary on the AFPM motor was implemented. The control method was investigated and the characteristics were analyzed. The common scientific problems of the AFPM motor were summarized and the technical paths to improve the efficiency and power density were explored. Finally, the study direction, tendency and application of the AFPM motor system including topology, analysis method, and control technology were analyzed, summarized and prospected. © 2022 Chin.
