摘要
In order to solve the problem about optimal sensor placement for cylinder shell, the improved op timal sensor placement method based on proportion -coefficient effective independence was proposed, which used proportion coefficient to reflect the correlation of sensor information. Comparing this method with three other existing methods from the perspective of mode and response, the proportion coefficient-effective independence method can avoid the information redundancy effectively, and has advantages to keep structural characteristics. Besides, it can accurately predict the vibration and sound. Therefore, it is an ideal method for optimal sensor placement for cylinder shell. © 2019, Editorial Board of Journal of Ship Mechanics.
