摘要
This paper has shown a correlation of pressure drop for pseudohomogeneous or mildly heterogeneous solid-liquid slurry flows through horizontal pipelines derived using a curve-fitting technique applied on exhaustive simulation data. These data are attained using a properly validated Eulerian model for multiphase flows whose applicability is confirmed for the selected range of slurry flows. The spread of geometric and working input parameters of solid-liquid slurry flows targeted during the present research work has been quite inclusive and widespread. This increases the applicability realm of the derived correlation. © 2020 by Begell House, Inc.
