In order to illustrate the functionalization principle of textile materials for the interior and exterior of vehicles, the DITF, together with the Fraunhofer IAO, Stuttgart/Germany, and students from Reutlingen University, Reutlingen/ Germany, have developed a functionalized textile car door for a Renault Twizy.
