摘要
In this article we try to retrace the long-standing "history" of Sciascia's relationship with the tale-investigation, which he developed over the course of his varied essay-literary production, starting from The parishes of Regalpetra up to A simple history, that is, from the first to the last narrative text published in his lifetime. In particular, through the analysis of his most representative works from this point of view, we show that this history is anything but "simple" and that a simple history can, in this sense, also be considered, in our opinion, as a book-testament, as it emblematically illustrates his troubled reflection on the significant connection between (counter)narrative and power, truth and justice, author and reader.
