摘要
Currently, most of the automotive vehicles use suspension systems where shock absorbers and dampers are used to smoothen the ride and dampen the vibrations caused by the abrupt changes and disturbances like road irregularities, braking and accelerating forces and so on. The vibration forces acting on the suspension system is converted into waste heat energy by the shock absorbers, this energy can be put into use by using a regenerative suspension system where the vibration energy is converted into electrical energy, this increases an automotives energy efficiency. This paper is a review on how we can use the various types of regenerative suspension systems and how it can be used to generate power and increase efficiency of our everyday lives. © 2022
