摘要
Charges tend to accumulate at the gas-solid interface under the action of high voltage for a long time. It is considered as one of the main factors leading to flashover, which affects the stable operation of power systems. It is of great significance to investigate the characteristics of charge distribution on insulator surface under AC voltage for improving the surface flashover voltage and manufacturing level of insulators. Based on the ongoing research work and the key problems in the study of charge accumulation and discharge characteristics, the related research progress in charge accumulation on solid insulating surface under AC voltage are summarized and reviewed, such as charge measurement methods, the causes of charge accumulation, charge distribution characteristics, influence factors, the relationship between surface charge and flashover voltage, and so on. At last, some suggestions for the ensuing researches are proposed so as to provide some references to related research in the future. © 2022 Chinese Machine Press. All rights reserved.
