摘要
An AIE-based fluorescent probe was designed to evaluate peroxynitrite levels in complex biological samples. The newly synthesized hydrazone-conjugated probe fluoresces strongly in the presence of peroxynitrite. Clinically, the peroxynitrite levels can be measured in human serum and cellular mitochondria with an LOD of 6.5 nM by fluorescence imaging in vitro. Presenting Mt-NI-2: a fluorescent probe for peroxynitrite levels in human serum and mitochondria. It utilizes as a diagnostic tool for neurodegenerative diseases, facilitating in-depth exploration of their underlying mechanisms.
