In a world driven by the imperative need for sustainable energy solutions, the domain of phase change materials (PCMs) emerges as a beacon of hope. The special issue, titled Phase Change Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage, delves deeply into the transformative potential of PCMs in reshaping the energy landscape. PCMs possess a unique capability to store and release energy during phase transitions, rendering them indispensable in applications such as thermal energy storage, refrigeration, and renewable energy conversion. This special issue spotlights cutting-edge research, shedding light on innovative PCM-based technologies that enhance energy efficiency while simultaneously reducing environmental impact. © 2023 The Author(s)
