：In recent years，the automatic online pretreatment technology has been rapidly developed and applied in the field of forensic toxicological analysis. Compared with traditional extraction technology， online pretreatment technology has unique advantages such as high efficiency，convenience，high stability，safety and high sensitivity，which perfectly fits the growing demand for toxicant analysis. The application，difficulties，solutions，development prospects and directions of various online pretreatment technologies in forensic toxicology testing are reviewed，which can provide reference for the development of automation technology in toxicology testing. © 2023, Youke Publishing Co.,Ltd.
