摘要
Raman Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (ROTDR) combines the principles of Raman scattering and OTDR to enable distributed temperature sensing along the length of the optical fiber. An optical receiver with high gain bandwidth (similar to 6e7 MHz) has been designed and fabricated to detect extremely weak (sub-nW) anti-Stokes backscattered light, which allows the use of relatively low-power semiconductor lasers for distributed temperature sensing applications.
