摘要
Digitization plays an important role in the manufacturing industry, as SMEs in particular can benefit from numerous potential advantages. Yet SMEs often struggle to realize these potentials. VR-based training - with low entry barriers and high efficiency - can offer a solution. VR enables active learning in simulated production environments with high concentration. The needs analysis discussed in this paper provides an overview of competencies and requirements. © 2023 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston, Germany.
