A power transmission mechanism of the rotary impeller internal combustion engine based on eccentric transmission shaft and planetary gear was designed.The kinematics model of the power transmission mechanism is established by analyzing the structure and working principle of the internal combustion engine.The results show that the rotary impeller internal combustion engine theoretically should be able to generate higher power density and run more smoothly due to multiple work strokes during the revolution process than the traditional piston engine. The phenomenon of rotor return is proportional to the eccentricity of eccentric transmission axis,and the phenomenon is more obvious with the increase of eccentricity. © 2019, Science Press.
