摘要
This research endeavor seeks to scrutinize the intricate interplay between natural resources, digitalization, and the load capacity factor in BRICS-T nations (comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and Turkey) during the period spanning from 1990 to 2019. The overarching goal of this study is to align with the objectives outlined in COP-27 and 28 to bolster ecological sustainability. The empirical estimations were conducted through the utilization of the Method of Moment Quantile Regression and Quantile Regression techniques. The findings demonstrate that Load Factor (LF) exhibits a positive correlation with both GDP and NR throughout all quantiles, indicating that economic output and natural resources positively impact LF. In contrast, TGLO and GS are negatively correlated with LF across the spectrum, suggesting an inverse relationship. Additionally, DIG presents a positive correlation at the median quantile, but its relationship with LF is not significant at other quantiles. Furthermore, the QR outcomes corroborate the MMQR findings. The study also incorporates panel causality analysis, confirming the predictive influence of the examined variables on ecological quality. Policymakers should capitalize on GDP and natural resources to enhance ecological capacity and devise strategies to mitigate the environmental impacts of globalization and governance.
