摘要
Originally, the management of underground gas storage (UGS) was bundled with pipelines. And with the continuous advancement of oil and gas management system reform in China, UGS gradually realize business separation, financial independence, and even property right independence from the pipelines. Therefore, management of the gas storage services well is an urgent issue for UGS operators to think and solve. The changes of management system, service types, and management strategies before and after the marketization reform of natural gas were analyzed systematically, taking American UGS operators into consideration. Combined with the key factors and existing problems of China's UGS business and management, suggestions on the management of China's UGS operators were proposed.
