摘要
Epitheldefekte gehoren zu den haufigsten ophthalmologischen Erkrankungen, von denen die meisten schnell abheilen und eine gute Prognose haben. Bestimmte Epitheldefekte konnen jedoch aus verschiedenen Grunden uber Wochen (oder langer) bestehen bleiben. Eine langsame Reepithelialisierung kann die Hornhaut fur Infektionen, Narbenbildung, Keratolyse, Vaskularisierung und Sehverlust pradisponieren.
