摘要
In this study, a polyurethane (PU) resin is synthesized using a new type of polycarbonate diol (PCD) that contains isosorbide (ISB),which is a plant-derived raw material. The synthesized PU resin is applied to the skin layer of synthetic leather. The characteristics of the synthesized PU resin are investigated. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the synthesized PU resin is 78°C, which is extremely high. In addition, when the synthesized PU resin is mixed with conventional PU resin, wrinkles can be formed on the surface of the synthetic leather according to the required usage ratio. Although it affects the surface texture of the synthetic leather, the flexing endurance test performed at -10°C shows a practically usable region. © 2022 Authors. All rights reserved.
