摘要
Because of the incipient research on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCC) in the public sector, this study aimed to evaluate a measurement scale, as well as the incidence of the construct among Brazilian civil servants working in federal educational institutions, including teaching and technical-administrative. Therefore, a survey was carried out with items related to the measurement of OCB, adapted from an international scale. After the confirmatory factor analysis process, the adjustment of the measurement model and construct validity was obtained, confirming the dimensionality proposed in the original version. Regarding the incidence of OCB, it was possible to signal that the servers of federal educational institutions, in general, tend to manifest it concerning co-workers and the organization in which they work.
