摘要
Triangular vortex generators with different configurations, wind inclined angles and wind attack angles were adopted to study the control effects on vortex-induced vibration for the cylinder, based on the wind tunnel experiment. The experimental results reveal that vortex generator can shorten the locking interval of cylindrical vortex-induced vibration and reduce the amplitude of vortex-induced vibration. The selection of wind deflection Angle and wind attack Angle has a great influence on the control effect. When the wind attack angle is 70°, the control effect is best. Even if the vortex generator is set at a distance from the separation point, it can play a better control role on the boundary layer. The vortex generator delays the separation of boundary layer on the cylinder surface, and the influence of the three-dimensional characteristics of the convection field is manifested in reducing the cross-correlation of wind pressure on the cylinder surface. © 2019, Editorial Board of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
