摘要
The research of green combustion catalysts for DB/CMDB propellants was reviewed. The characteristics and developments of green metal matrix combustion catalysts containing bismuth, copper, barium, magnesium and zirconium were summarized. It was pointed out that the green combustion catalysts containing bismuth had excellent catalytic performance and potential application prospects. The green copper catalysts and other metal salts commonly used in the propellants had a better catalytic effect compared to the copper catalysts. The green combustion catalysts containing barium had low catalytic activity but a better platform effect compared to the lead catalysts. It was also shown that the studies and application of green combustion catalysts containing other metals should be strengthened in the future. Finally, the important research directions in the future were suggested as following: energetic and nano-sized green combustion catalyst, preparation and application of new carbon materials coated nano green metal-based composite catalyst, preparation and mechanism studies of bimetallic multifunctional green catalyst, and application research on the synergistic effect of catalyst system composed with bismuth, copper and carbon black.
