摘要
A mathematical model is presented that can calculate the axial profile of the surface and the core of the stones within the shaft kiln for varies distribution of the sizes, the calcination degree, the gas temperature, the gas composition, the pressure drop, etc. The model is based on some research projects and dissertations and was validated with measured values from different shaft kilns. In this paper it is shown, in which way the stone size distribution influences the specific energy consumption, the residual carbon dioxide fraction and the maximum stone temperature. The height of this stone temperature is an indicator for the reactivity of the produced lime. © 2021 Verlag Bau und Technik GmbH. All rights reserved.
