摘要
Airplanes are among the most common modes of everyday transportation in many countries and rural areas, sometimes preceding cars or trains. This part of aviation, characterized by nonprofessional, noncommercial civilian pilots flying to conduct routine tasks or for pleasure, is referred to as general aviation (GA). In the U.S. alone, around half a million GA pilots fly close to 200,000 GA aircraft, generating more than $150 billion in annual economic activity.
