摘要
Pier settlement is hard to be avoided in the construction and operation of high-speed railways, which may lead to abnormal vibrations of trains. Aiming at pier settlement in Chinese high-speed railway, the deformation of track caused by multi-pier settlement is discussed, and the deformation expression of track is deduced. Based on the train-track coupled dynamics, a train-track-bridge dynamic interaction model considering multi-pier settlement is established; the influence of multi-pier settlement on the dynamic responses of running trains is investigated, and the mapping expressions between train vibrations and multi-pier settlement are deduced. Results show that train vibrations are affected by multi-pier settlement. Linear relationship is determined between the train vibration and the second derivative of the rail deformation, which can be employed to simplify the calculations in the train-track research. Based on the running performances of trains, the suggested pier settlement safety threshold is 26.3 mm, which indicates that the limit value of pier settlement(5 mm) in current code has a margin of safety. © 2021 Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
