摘要
Chemical-looping is a novel technology to produce syngas and couples with CO2 reduction to produce syngas and reduce CO2 emission. A series of CeO2-NiO oxygen carriers were prepared by calcining at 600-900 ℃, and their structures were characterized by XRD, BET, XPS and CH4-TPR. The reactivity of prepared oxygen carriers was evaluated by isothermal reactions including partial oxidation of methane, CO2 reduction and redox cycles. The results show that calcination temperature can change the structure properties and reactivity of CeO2-NiO oxygen carriers. CeO2-NiO-850 showed the best structural stability, excellent oxygen storage and release capacity, higher methane conversion and CO2 conversion. CeO2-NiO-850 presented better thermal stability after 20 redox cycles. © 2022, Editorial Board of "Journal of Chemical Engineering of Chinese Universities". All right reserved.
